RE:
Pentecost Central Lists
Lists are a way of communicating with people on the Internet. Also known as e-groups and forums, those who are part of them can exchange posts and messages through direct replies or forwarding to one or more recipients.
How is the Catholic faith spread through these lists?
1. Many post prayer requests and others reply and respond with their prayers.
2. Some generously and openly share a bit of themselves and their personal backgrounds.
3. Others post news from the Vatican, the activities of the Pope, and various issues concerning all Catholics at the local church level.
4. There are those who post prayers, meditations, and excerpts of classic wisdom from our storehouse of Catholic literature.
5. Catechetical and informative items on the faith are also posted for the benefit of many in the list.
6. Contemporary material like stories and modern parables are also forwarded many times over to spread great lessons in Christian life and much spiritual wisdom.
Due to the openness and inclusive spirit of all in the Pentecost Central lists, there are non-Catholic members who also take part in the mission. We give them equal freedom to post as they wish knowing that all of us in the list are mature persons of faith who respect each other's Christian beliefs and who in a practical way are growing and learning how to co-exist with each other in the spirit of ecumenism and Christian unity.
